The police are to remain deployed at parliament today to maintain regulation and order beforehand of the lots predicted debate on lifting of the age limit.
Kampala Metropolitan Police Commander Frank Mwesigwa says they have got information that opposition politicians have mobilized people to stage anti-age restriction protests and it’s miles their duty to make sure safety for Ugandans.
Mesigwa said that some roads around Parliament might be closed nowadays, urging contributors of most of the people to apply opportunity routes as shall be guided by way of site visitors police.
The various roads to be closed is Kimanthi avenue, Parliamentary street, Dewinton and Nile street.
However, it isn’t always but clean if the age restriction debate can be included on today’s Order Paper.
